Serve in the Church and Community

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” – Matthew 22:37-39

 

Part of “loving your neighbor as yourself” is serving one another. Whether it’s as an individual, as a family, or as a Small Group, we believe that God has called every person at NBC to serve. God has given each of us unique gifts. Take a look through the options below and find a place to serve this week! One of life’s greatest blessings is to have the opportunity to serve others.

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”– Matthew 28:18-20

 

At NBC, we believe God has called each believer to GO spread the Good News of Jesus Christ,whether that’s in your community, city, nation, or world! Through our local, domestic, and international partnerships, there are opportunities for everyone to minister and serve God’s people. The Gospel has moved us to impact our world and make Him known in radical ways. God is already moving; we are just joining Him in His work by sending short-term mission teams all over the world.
